Patrick Lenahan received the Ph.D. (1979) from the University of Illinois. During 1979 and 1980, he did a postdoctoral fellowship at Princeton University. 1980-1985, he was a member of the technical staff at Sandia National Labs. Since 1985, he has been at the Pennsylvania State University where he is Professor of Engineering Science and Mechanics (ESM). ESM is a department of applied physics and materials engineering. Patrick currently serves as associate editor of the Journal of Electronic Materials for dielectrics and ferroelectrics.
