INDUSTRY LEADERS FROM TSMC, INTEL AND TEXAS INSTRUMENTS TO SPEAK AT IRPS 2003
DALLAS, Texas – March 10, 2003 – Industry leaders Intel and TSMC give their relative perspectives on the future of new technologies at the 2003 International Reliability Physics Symposium (IRPS), the premier symposium for the scientific exploration of microelectronic reliability, to be held from March 30 through April 4, 2003 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Shang-yi Chiang, senior vice president and the head of the research and development group, of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (TSMC), and Mark T. Bohr, an Intel Fellow and director of process architecture and integration at Intel, will be the keynote speakers for this year's event. Chiang and Bohr's separate keynotes will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2003, starting at 8 a.m. In addition, Dr. Larry Hornbeck, a TI Fellow in DLP™ Products at Texas Instruments, will describe the history of TI’s MEMS-based projection display technology during the symposium reception at Union Station on Tuesday, April 1 at 7 p.m.
