Speaker Information

Please find on this web page the Author’s Kit Files for your paper that you will be presenting at the 2010 IRPS in Anaheim, CA. This kit provides you with instructions for creating electronic files of your manuscript and instructions for visuals for platform presentations and poster presentations. See links below.

Please keep in mind that there is a 10 page limit with 6 pages being typical/optimal for final manuscripts for both oral and poster presenters.

There are basically two stages to preparing a paper for IRPS. The first is writing the paper itself, and the second is preparing the paper for presentation. The full manuscript is due to your mentor by January 25, 2010 and the final paper, along with the IEEE copyright form, must be uploaded to the manuscript collection site in order to be included in the published proceedings (CDROM, and IEEE EXplore and be presented in Anaheim, CA. We cannot publish any work in the proceedings without the copyright release form.

You will be receiving a separate email from the Symposium office with a form attached for you to fill in with the biographies of ALL authors in your paper.

The deadlines for manuscript development are:

Submit to session chair no later than January 25, 2010
You should expect feedback from your session chair by February 12, 2010
Work with your session chair to finalize your manuscript February 12-25, 2010
Submit your final electronic copy (see web instructions below) February 26, 2010

The 2010 IRPS proceedings is being copyrighted and platform presentations will be recorded for the Virtual 2010 IRPS. The recording authorization form (not required for poster presentations) must be completed and returned to SAR Associates no later than February 26, 2010. Please email the recording authorization form to irps@twcny.rr.com

All the oral presentations are to be done using Powerpoint files. The Audio-Visual instructions from Guiseppe Larosa, the Audio-Visual Chair, are also posted on this web page. Remember, the draft presentation artwork is due to your Session Chair for review by March 3, 2010 and the final presentation artwork deadline is March 31, 2010. For poster presentations, please refer to the Poster Instructions, see below.
