The following condensed history of the IRPS was prepared to give attendees a little insight into the events which have formed the symposium they are presently attending. It is broken into two parts, the first being a narrative of origins and significant events in its history, and the second portion a listing of Dates, Locations, Chairmen, and Paper Awards for each symposium.
